TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SECURING SERVICES

​

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable deposit to Amy-Jane Makeup. The deposit is £50 - this is required to secure the event. Arranging a trial does not reserve the artists services for the event. Trials must be paid for on the day of the trial. A deposit may be taken to secure the trial date. The client can cancel the trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 48hrs notice will be charged for at the agreed rate.

PAYMENT


Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash or card payment. Cheques will not be accepted. The non-refundable deposit of £50 is taken off the overall fee, your date is not secure until this fee is received. Payment for the trial is due on the date of the trial. The remaining fee is to be paid in full one week (7 days) before the event. Failure to pay the fee within the stated time will result in the event being cancelled by Amy-Jane Makeup. Any changes made within 6 weeks of the wedding date will not result in the final balance changing in the exception of additional clients on the day. Any changes made after the final balance is due will not be refunded nor will it result in the final balance changing.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT

The client shall inform the artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment of products. This includes but is not limited to location, allergies and medical conditions. The artist can not be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the clients failure to inform the artist of any known condition. The artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour.

CANCELLATIONS

At any point the client can cancel the event by informing Amy-Jane Makeup in writing. The artist is under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however the client will not be liable for any further payments. Once the date of the final fee passes any cancelations of individuals in the party will not be refunded. The client can cancel a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 48hrs notice will be charged for at the agreed rate. Cancellations made by the artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given will result in a refund to the client. No further compensation will be given. If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond control of the artist every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made.

PHOTOGRAPHY

​

The client agrees that the artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the artists website and social media pages. 

​

TRAVEL EXPENSES

​

The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the artist as agreed at the time of booking. This is to include, should it be required, parking charges and congestion charges. For destination events, airport transfers both in the UK and abroad, flights and accommodation with breakfast should all be provided.
